For One Music Fest 2023, Sprite set out to expand its partnership with the festival as the official sponsor of the Hip-Hop 50 stage. We developed The Sprite Block, an immersive brand activation that transformed the festival grounds into a walkable neighborhood celebrating the East, West, Midwest, and South regions of hip-hop. The experience blended environmental design, regional storytelling, photo moments, stage graphics, apparel, social assets, and interactive content capture into one cohesive world built for culture, memory, and movement.

The Ask
In 2023, Sprite wanted to expand its partnership with One Music Fest by becoming the official sponsor of the Hip-Hop 50 stage. The goal was to create a memorable experience that gave festival attendees a way to celebrate the artists, regions, and cultural legacy that shaped hip-hop over the last fifty years.
The Idea
We created The Sprite Block, a walkable neighborhood experience inspired by the regions that shaped hip-hop culture. Guests moved through visual worlds representing the East, West, Midwest, and South, each designed with its own architectural cues, photo moments, cultural references, and branded touchpoints.
The Experience
The activation brought together a Brooklyn brownstone stoop, a West Coast transit stop, a Southern corner store, and a life-size Midwest boombox with recording booth-inspired interactions. Every space was designed to feel familiar, cinematic, and social-ready while keeping Sprite at the center of the celebration.
The System
Beyond the physical activation, the visual language extended across apparel, invitations, social assets, key art, and large-scale LED stage graphics, creating a complete brand world that could live across the festival before, during, and after the event.
